was SHAKING on the date. I was very disappointed to hear that because I didn't feel nervous at all when we were communicating. So i can see how anyone will be turned off from a guy shaking across the table. Maybe activity will be better for me in the future instead of the cafe and table talk

You should have told her that you found out there was an earthquake while on the date. You noticed the shaking too and read in the paper the next day about the quake.

Women will believe any kind of bs. But be careful with the truth:cool:

how did you hear this? email? did she call? did you hear anything from her friend?

You know what, be honest with her while on the date. If you are nervous, say "I'm actually feeling a little anxious." Authenticity is not weak. She probably felt nervous too. I have a friend who has an anxiety disorder, and he told a girl "you know, I have an anxiety disorder, and situations like this sometimes make me nervous." He pulled her. I'm not saying you need to go to that extreme, but if you are nervous and shaking, just admit to her "I'm kind of nervous." Seriously. Even pick-up artists would recommend this. It sounds counter intuitive, but women are NURTURING people. Mention it causally, and follow it up with "have you ever felt that way in certain situations?"
