Heavenly55 Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 sneak a peak inside a woman's shirt. Ok staring at chest, annoying but I learn to deal with it but trying to look down? Case in question..my boss. Nice guy, treats me really nice, etc..He's also alot older and married. Thing is..he stares at me all the time. I sit right by him so if I'm walking towards my desk most of the time he'll just sit in his office with his eyes glued on me. And no I don't even make eyes contact bc I can see from my side vision lol. Well I find this extremely uncomfortable. Then when we've been at social functions again I'll feel his eyes looking at me. And yes I wear professional clothes nothing low cut but I will wear a shirt with a V in it bc well I like the shirt. And no I'm not gonna wear a t pee. So I purposly come in the morning a different way so he won't be able to just sit in his chair and leer. So a few days ago I had a shirt on. He came over to talk to me and as I looked away and looked back quick there he was literally trying to look in the side v of my shirt. I wanted to say wat the f are u looking at. Like I was really annoyed. He also hangs over everyone when he's trying to show u something on your computer..he does it to the guys as well. I mean I understand a guys gonna look at a woman's chest but considering my other boss doesn't stare at me non stop guy this he can't control it. And when I saw him trying to look in my shirt he knows I caught him. I mean if this was in a different situation u bet I would have said nice and loud..did u get a good look but obviously I'm can't in this situation. Thoughts?

I mean it was so obvious and all I'm wearing is a v-neck(which isn't cut low and you can't see much unless I bend over). Guys need to at least learn to be more subtle....

He laughed it off. They complained again, and he said he'd do something, but kind of laughed it off. The next time the owner was in this woman's office, she would not take her eyes off his crotch. When he called her on it she said "see? it makes you uncomfortable, doesn't it?" That fixed it. That man no longer works for the company.

Well I say just wear more conservative clothes. There's no need to show off in a workplace. You're just setting up yourself for a messy situation. Men can't help looking at a nice pair. But if he still treats you the same way even after you dress conservatively, talk to him in person about it and tell him you don't appreciate it. It's actually sexual harassment according to the rules in my company.

And sorry but trying to look in someone's shirt is different then just staring. This guy is like ceo status so my little complaint I doubt will do any good.

My boobs weren't hanging out and if most of the other guys could stand by me and not try to sneak a peak in my blouse or at least I didnt catch them..actually I can't even say sneak bc he was beyond obvious about it then I guess this one just has no self control lol.
