So we would talk and had discussions about relationships and other things, and she was scheduled to go on a 5 day vacation about a week after our first date. So we would talk every other night and never had a second date before she left but I was wondering was I supposed to call her while she was away for 5 days? At the time I wasn;t sure and just waited for her to come back so i could call but it turns out she never called me ever again.

I wasn't sure if I would look like a loser calling her from philly while she was in Florida. Now if we had went on our second date before she went to florida then I would have defintely called.

No i didn't, something I should have done. The thing was, she was my dreamgirl and I was extremely nervous whenever i talked to her because i was so worried about doing something wrong. Even when she called me on my birthday to say-"Happy Birthday" after out first date, I was still wondering did that mean she is interested-lol

What happened was I became intimdated, she was beautiful, intelligent, had her own car, and place , and was calling me showing interest and me like an IDIOT was wondering why she was so interested in me.

Maybe the guys here would tell you this is wrong, but if you like her so much and she was obviously interested....why don't you just call her now? Call and say you were thinking of her and wanted to see how she's doing. Ask if she wants to see a movie/meet for coffee/have a meal. The worst thing that can happen is she'll say no. If she asks why you didn't call sooner, I think you just say "I don't know...I'm realizing now that was a huge mistake. I'd really like to see you." Try it. ALSO--why did you say she didn't compliment you at all on the date. Stop being such a girl and so insecure about things. I know that you're afraid of rejection (we all are) but the only thing you do by acting all insecure is ensure your own defeat.

You are right, I did go to the date last thursday not worrying about a compliment at all so I think I'm no longer going to base everything on a compliment.
