I mean afterall its been 7 years and if you make a woman feel like shes not worth more than a cup of Coffee then she picks up on that.. It would be different if she said "Oh ,lets just go for coffee." But she wanted dinner. I am not a gold digger but maybe her " hey you didn't take me to dinner " means she thinks you are cheap. Own up man ! Do you make decent money ? If you do , shell out the bucks for dinner. If you are poor just make coffee dates and pray you get a non`gold digger girl...

sofakingmad Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 DA sorry to hear about your dating troubles. you've gotten some good and not so good advice so far. but don't be a quitter. as many have said you have to keep playing the game. i just started getting back into the dating world. in the past 3 weeks or so i have had about 7 dates and none have gotten to the second date. of those 7 dates i only wanted a second date from 4 of them. one was extremely shy but she warmed up as the night went on. after the date she asked to see my car and we were talking in my car and at the end i asked if i could call her and she said sure. so the next day i called her and she didn't answer so i left a message and she didn't return the call. i emailed her and she finally emailed me and said i was great, a gentleman, blah blah blah but she wanted to date other guys on the online service she was using before she would see me again. another said i could call her and i did and she said she didn't think there was enough chemistry. the third i met last week and we hit it off pretty good and she emailed me today saying she had a great time and wanted to get together again soon. and the fourth i just went out with last night. she was actually taller than me i'm 5'5" and i'm 12 years older than her but she knew all that before we went out. she smiled and was very outgoing and we had a great time. i'm going to call her soon and try to set up a second date. my point? well i'm hitting 1 for 7, 1 for 4 if you just count the ones i wanted a second date with. i've been rejected several times in 3 weeks and it sucks but you just gotta get back in there man.

Now I have to start all over again, and come across a female who is attrcated to my photo and I'm attrcated to hers, then we have to touch base through email, then there is the phone conversation and i have to like her phone voice and she has to like mine. All of that has to happen before i go on another date which is why the rejections, especially at 32 are more painful thean they were at 22

Rejections are easier to shake off when you are YOUNGER and have ALL YOUR HAIR-lol When I was 22, 23, I would laugh at rejections but at 32, 55 pounds heavier, and thinning hair, it's not a funny thing anymore because I'm getting older and the window is closing for me to get a young pretty girl in her 20's.

Unless you find a girl that likes big teddy bears ( I do ) then its going to be rough going ... You might have to be incredibly rich to snag the average cute 22 year 110 lb hottie....Not to say you can't get younger....I get younger all the time in the range you are looking for because I look pretty hot. I say the best answer is a weight training program , no fast foods, no soda. no beer and get your weight down a little more . You said you were handsome so thats not a problem. ... I know you are grabbing for the proverbial golden ladder of youth. Maybe you will succeed... But listen EXPECT rejection. ! Don't go on any date with alot of expectations... Your mentality should be :" Okay tonite I am going to meet Sherry . I have already told her I weigh 305 lbs and she has seen me on the web cam... Alright we are going to meet for dinner or drinks and we are just going to casually chat and see if there is chemistry. If there is no chemistry I will get back on my white horse and try again....NEVER give up !!!
