italianchica Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I've met this great guy online and we've been emailing each other back and forth for at least a month now. We communicate very well, things click, and I would definitely like to move the talking to the phone or meet in person. Thing is, he mentions how great he thinks I am, how much he would like to meet me, and is very expressive about how he likes me, etc.. but has never once asked for anything more. It's thrown me for a loop. Once he mentioned being scared that I wouldn't like him in person, which has lead me to believe that this might be holding him back, but it's getting old just communicating through email when I actually like the guy and want to advance forward. I would just ask him to call me or vice versa but I worry if he hasn't mentioned either of us calling by now then maybe he doesn't want to. What should I do?
tanbark813 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Give him your number and tell him to give you a call.
Star Gazer Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Give him your number, but don't ask him to call. Be prepared for the fact that you might end up having to call him though - many online guys think they're too good to pick up the phone themselves for the first time.
Touche Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I'd exchange pictures first. And I wouldn't give him my number until he asked for it.
