Hi all,

I posted a while ago about a couple of fellows that I was considering going on a date with.

Well, I gave my number to a mutual friend for the younger fellow. I don't know the older man at all really, only met him once. The younger one and I have hung out with friends a couple of times, but like I mentioned previously he is so quiet, and shy. I really didn't feel much interest from him, also I think he is scared of me. So in my desperation I gave my number to the friend. Then I got nothing. Great.

Well, I had a chance encounter with the mutual friend and it turns out that this guy never got my number. Okay, fine. Then just today I saw her again and she told me that this dude has been out of town for vacation and that he "really" wants my number but he wants to "get it on his own". That he is planning to ask me out for dinner or something (which logically seems hard to me if he doesn't have my number, but whatever).

I laughed and told her that I will let this guy be as smooth as he wants to pretend to be, and it sounds like fun.

Oh well, I guess we shall see what the coming week brings.

Maybe he's a Jedi.

Well, I might be interested in seeing his light saber.

I don't understand the whole "get her number on my own" thing though?

It's a male pride thing. It's a notch or two below getting your number from your mom. :D

Men and their egos! It is weird, but whatever. As long as he calls. Good luck, unders! :)

Thanks Hun,

Well, that is just it. He can't call me without my number. And if getting it from a mutual friend is off putting then ...okay, good luck. I don't know. I am guessing that he might arrange another mutual friend meeting. It's just kind of silly, but really, what else am I doing?

Phone purgatory. I am sure this topic has been discussed but I will just go on record as saying it is rather a silly place to be or put yourself.

I hope Yoda, gives the young man some lessons on the ladies. Call or call not, call.

We shall see.
