Iamhere123 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I am 19, and she is 18. I have been with her for a year, and everything was awesome. Then all of a sudden she didn't answer her phone for a few days, and then she called and said we needed to talk one night. She picked me up and was acting the same as usual. We went to a vacant park and sat on the swings, and she said that we needed to talk about our relationship. She said that she just didn't feel the same anymore, and it was nothing that I did and that I should be with someone that has the time to spend with her. (Her parents are very strict, and she works two jobs because of it). She hugged me and was crying. She kept saying how sorry she was and that I am/was a great boyfriend; she said she still really cares about me and wanted to be friends and hang out a lot. Then today she called me, and we were talking a little and she was saying how it wasn't me. She said she is being weird and doesn't know what she wants. She wants to hang out this Thursday night and talk/hang out. She was really sad, as was I. I tried to tell her how relationships aren't always going to feel "amazing" and that it isn't realistic to break it off because you have been feeling weird for a couple of weeks about it. Do you think it is possible to get her back? It doesn't seem like she is "totally gone" as of now at all. What do I do?
neveragain2493 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 wow, from the way it sounds.. something is up for her to suddenly not answer the phone anymore. her parents are strict... i have a feeling it's something to do with them, if not them, then it's something. since she's graduated now, maybe she feels (if she is going away to college with 2 jobs) that you won't have time to spend together much. and for her to suddenly act as if she wants to be with you again, then there are second thoughts from her. and for that reason.. it's not her. okay, so it's not her, and it is definitely not you since she had to keep reassuring you what a great boyfriend you are/were. but something is most definitely up. be there for her, but don't rush her into the relationship again, let her come to you, and she will. but don't push it or assume too quickly on what this may be. you want her to know you trust her on what reasons she's given you. and maybe one day you will know the reason. but for now, just take the baby steps :] i wish you the best.
