Yamaha Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 well LL if you want to be taken advantage of then thats your own business... So true, Alpha. LL you need to quit worrying about his feelings and just act on your own needs. If you are tired of the arrangements then you need to just say you are moving out. He doesn't worry about you except when he wants something so he doesn't deserve a "talk".
Curmudgeon Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 The reason PEOPLE run away when the term "we need to talk" is brought up is because these talks are never good news for the person hearing it. At least 75% of break-ups start with those magic words. That's why people run away. BTDT! The ex was the Drama Queen. It all amounted to naught, as, ultimately, did the marriage. It may not be good news but it IS news and that gives you something to work with, through or around if you so desire.
Krytellan Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 BTDT After 5 minutes of thinking, I have no idea what that stands for.
norajane Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 After 5 minutes of thinking, I have no idea what that stands for. Have you been drinking? Been There, Done That...
Trialbyfire Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I dunno...how difficult is it to sit him down at the table, plunk a couple of beers in front of him and say...okay...let's talk. Is the rest of the drama necessary?

Is the rest of the drama necessary? well the main problem TBF, is that she's totally in love with him and he's totally indifferent towards her. need I say more?
Trialbyfire Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 well the main problem TBF, is that she's totally in love with him and he's totally indifferent towards her. need I say more? She has to piss or get off the pot...y'know. Get to the point, tell him everything, let him make a choice. If he's interested, then he'll go for it. If he's not, she needs to stop letting him use her for daycare. She has to assert her rights to the place as the roommate ponying up 50% of the bills. If he wants his kids taking over the place, he needs to pay the extra. If he wants her to take care of his kids, he needs to ask her first, then pay for daycare services.
