UT_longhorn Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 So this past weekend I went out with some friends and was having a really good time with them. I ran into some people I knew at the club and amongst them was this one girl that I had met a couple of times prior. Well on Saturday, we flirted, drank, and hung out together. Well...chemistry and the stars aligned and she ended up at my place that night. The sex was incredible. The next day no awkwardness. We just chatted for a few hours on my bed after we woke up. We went out to a nice lunch and I took her back home. Now my dilemma is this..this girl is gorgeous, smart, cool but I do not want a relationship with her. But I do want to remain friends cause we really did get along well. Friends with benefits would be even better. What do you think is going through her head right now? would inviting her to a July 4th BBQ be taken a certain way?
Star Gazer Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 If you invite her to a 4th of July BBQ, I'm fairly certain she will think you're interested in pursuing a relationship with her.
laRubiaBonita Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 What do you think is going through her head right now? could be this..... http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t123454/
lonelybird Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Yes, please don't mislead this woman if you don't want a serious relationship with her. Women is different from men, after sex women tend to be more vulnerable, if they can pretend nothing, still hurting inside of them, well, there are few cases different than this, but most of women do feel vulnerable after sex. If you want to be friend, then no sex with her, you don't want to be a bad guy, do you?
Author UT_longhorn Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 Thanks for the input. I've been hurt in the past (all documented right here on the love shack forums ) and I have no intention of toying with anyone's feelings as I know what heart ache is. Off topic for a second but, you know you can go to jail for punching somebody in the face, but breaking someone's heart is so much of a harsher crime and there's no penalty for this. :| I've had a few one night stands in the past, and I've been very up front with all of them and I've remained on good terms with most of the women. So though I do want to remain friends, if she is going to be hurt by this, then I will pull myself away.
