Beachgrl486 Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Ok well to make a long story short...I started hanging out with this guy a few months back...just as friends. I was getting out of a long relationship and he was kind of getting over someone too. Well up until this weekend we have been hanging out like once a week or so. We have gone to a few movies, dinner once and just the normal stuff like that. Well Friday night we watched a movie at his house. Then I went home bc I was tired. Saturday we went out for a little while and then watched a movie again and we also had out first kiss. Well needless to say I went from kind of liking him to I havent been able to stop thinking about him. I mean its along been a few days but I am really starting to like him. I don't want to rush anything and I tend to always try and do that...I am not sure exactly how he feels because we have not really talked about it. But we do enjoy spending time together...I guess what I am asking is...I don't want to rush things but I do kind of like him so how do I tell him w/o pushing him away looking desperate...bc I'm not. P.S. He has a 3 year old daughter with his former girlfriend. He is a great dad...he only gets to see his daughter every other weekend and I know this bothers him bc he loves her dearly. I haven't met her yet and we really haven't talked about it happening but like once...at first it was awkward bc I have never even been close to dating someone with kids...but I don't mind...but is there any certain way to handle this?

You obviously have some feelings at this point, maybe you can broach the subject by asking how he feels, and see where it goes. I'm sure other LS people on here have had the same thing happen to them... H777

OMGosh this is like the same thing going on with me except I don't know if i want to pursue this because he already wanted to kiss me and he says he is attracted to me. He has an 8 yr old daughter.I myself never imagined dating a guy with a kid also, but he is so kind. However, i do have two issues that i dont except about this guy. But we both like eachother, i am just not sure yet till i get these two issues in the air and see what he says. Yeah, he is hanging out with you alot but ask him if he wants to pursue something more, you don't want to be wasting your time either. Gluck!
