I have been seeing this guy for almost four months.. we are allowed to date others, we want to take it slow, since he is out of a relationship... I spend a weekend over his house, it was his bday... and this morning, when I was going to work, he said.. Lets Keep in Touch, now that upset me so much, I was thinking about it on the way to work.. am I knit picking at the words.. he just said it.. what does that mean? You must know the history though... we had a fight two weeks ago, he freaked out on me, said i was getting too close.. but we made up... also, at his bday party, his friend came, who is a girl, and I met her before, really cool girl.. but she brought a gf with her, that is when he left me with his guy friend, and went to sit with the girl and continue chatting... I got really mad, I wasnt drinking, and I was getting a headache and was really tired, it was 4 AM.. but this just pissed me off, I sat down on the side, I know, retarded, I should have just had fun, but it was so upsetting.. he continued talking to her, taking pictures with her, then she got up and danced around infront of him, though i must say he ignored her... then he tried to talk to me, asking what was wrong, I said I had a headache, which I did.. I took advils and began to fall asleep.. but am I just being jealous?
Steveto Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 when a guy says "lets keep in touch", it usually means that he is keeping his options open. Not necessarily that you are backup, but he might have other options on his plate and he wants to test where they go, but at the same time wants to maintain the same relationship with you until he can figure out which way he wants to go.
