Krytellan Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Well the gf broke up with me today, citing that she can't stand the fact that she is not giving me what I want. It's kind of weird. I wasn't sure the relationship was going to last, but I definitely didn't think it would end this soon. I suppose the only reason I'm posting is as a way to solidify the fact that it happened in my mind. It seems rather surreal at the moment.
alphamale Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Well the gf broke up with me today, so sorry to hear it KRYT citing that she can't stand the fact that she is not giving me what I want. I'm sure you know what this means in reality...
Trialbyfire Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Sorry to hear about this Krytellan but judging from your previous threads, you had your own reservations. Better to end it sooner than later.
Author Krytellan Posted June 23, 2007 Author Posted June 23, 2007 I'm sure you know what this means in reality... Yeah, as if someone in this world could really be that selfless. The real pisser is now I have tickets to 2 Tigers games in Seattle and no date Ah well, could be worse I suppose. I left with my pride intact.
alphamale Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 its ok KRYT....chicks are like busses....if you stand at the stop long enough another one will come along giggity
Pyro Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Sorry about the break-up K. You said that you were not even sure that the relationship would last, so at least all your feelings were not invested into the relationship. Plenty more fish in the sea. If it makes you feel any better, if I were a girl, I would go with you to those games. I am a baseball dork and as you can tell by my signiature pic., I am a little bias toward the Tigers.
Author Krytellan Posted June 23, 2007 Author Posted June 23, 2007 I am a baseball dork and as you can tell by my signiature pic., I am a little bias toward the Tigers. Me too. I moved here from Detroit ya know... still trying to decide whether to renew my Lions season tix... tough call.
Pyro Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Me too. I moved here from Detroit ya know... still trying to decide whether to renew my Lions season tix... tough call. A friend of mine made the same move a couple of years ago. He is about 20 minutes outside of Seattle. Are you serious? You guys have a great football team. If I were you I would get Seahawks season tickets.
Author Krytellan Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 The ironic part is that I just got my official divorce decree yesterday. Now I'm officially single... and single again Kind of an exciting thought actually.
Pyro Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 The ironic part is that I just got my official divorce decree yesterday. Now I'm officially single... and single again Kind of an exciting thought actually. Well then you should celebrate and go live it up on the streets of Seattle tonight.
norajane Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 The ironic part is that I just got my official divorce decree yesterday. Now I'm officially single... and single again Kind of an exciting thought actually. You've got a lot going for you, sweets. And a lot of great ladies to meet. Get out there and have some fun.
Author Krytellan Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 You've got a lot going for you, sweets. And a lot of great ladies to meet. Get out there and have some fun. You know, my instinct is to hole myself up for the weekend and do nothing but play Neverwinter Nights until Monday morning (the same thing that got me through my separation). However, my body is telling me to go out to the sports bar or "cougar" bar and have some fun that I haven't had in a while. And maybe, just maybe, get staggering drunk for the first time in 8 months. Not out of sadness and pity, but because it's something I just haven't chosen to do in a long time
johan Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 You're better off with her and all the drama. Go have a good time. Maybe you won't have to spend much time getting over this one, and you'll find something better.
Nemo Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 You're better off with her and all the drama. Are you giving out free steak knives with your advice?
johan Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Are you giving out free steak knives with your advice? I meant "without". He's better off without her an all her drama. I don't understand the steak knives reference.
underpants Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Well to OP, sorry to hear about the loss of the relationship. However, through (unfortunately) enough heartache you learn to bounce better. BTW, I love the steak knife comment, and have made a mental note to self to use it if ever appropriate. That said, Johan left out the important 'without' which I think led to the mis communication. Regards, Unders
Storyrider Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Sorry this happened, K. But from what you were posting on my thread about your doubts, it might be for the best.
burning 4 revenge Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I meant "without". He's better off without her an all her drama. I don't understand the steak knives reference.I think its a suicide reference.
Storyrider Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I think its a suicide reference. I thought it was a reference to the bad Engrish.

I suppose the only reason I'm posting is as a way to solidify the fact that it happened in my mind. It seems rather surreal at the moment. That's terrible, Krytellan. Sorry to hear that. The surreal part isn't the worst. It's when the realization kicks in, that you get bummed. Do keep posting your thoughts on here.
Nemo Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 The surreal part isn't the worst. It's when the realization kicks in, that you get bummed. Nice to know it will get worse. At least you can prepare yourself. For the worst, I mean.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Nice to know it will get worse. At least you can prepare yourself. For the worst, I mean. Of course. That's how it usually goes. Wish it didn't, though.
Star Gazer Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Aww, Krytie, I'm sorry. I knew this would come eventually, and you did too. But I promise you it's for the best. I've told you this before - you were in a transition period. The next one will be "it" - I'm sure of it. You're too freakin' awesome not to find that perfect girl.
Nemo Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 You're too freakin' awesome not to find that perfect girl. I agree. The only thing that's missing is some whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
