DanielMadr Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Can someone clear for me what that "nasty" look mean? Hard facial expression and eyes with an expression western gunman used to have....similar to "I own you, any move and You are dead ". I often mistaken it for pure hatred or cold shoulder/b1tch shield. But how could anyone you hardly met already hate you so much? And when I objected ('Oh, dont kill me girl'), it turned out, she was interested in having a chat at least and her expression changed. Recently I learned it could mean "I'm horny and I wanna eF you right now". Can anyone spot some light on this? What does the look mean? .....Its scary, dont do that.
Zona76 Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 The only LOOK I have found disturbing in any tone or sence, is the blank look. No expression. Complete coldness; and you get the feeling of extreem vile hatred. Now to me THAT's scary.

If I give that look, it's not because I'm horny. I do it strangely without actually wanting to do it. My guy usually responds with, "don't you give me that look." What?? I have so many looks it's unbelieveable. Some I'm unaware of.

Sometimes I do have to give the "nasty/turned off" look. If I see a guy that is literally gawking at me from across the room, or staring at me while I dance with my friends, it gets kinda awkward, so I give them the "aloof" look, like rolling my eyes. yah I might look like a bitch doing it, but if guys are being obnoxious either by staring or commenting then yah I'll put up my shield so they back off. I hate when guys think they can get away with saying something sexual to a girl when they don't even know the girl. Once I was with my mom walking down the street to a cafe and this guy said "nice legs" and I was SO embarrassed but just ignored it. So usually that's what I have to do. Now my other "look" that is good, I usually stare at the guy until I get his attention or if he looks at me, I'll look, then look back and I just smile or bite my lip. well hope that wasn't too confusing!
knaveman Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Guess we're not talking about the Roxette song. Damn.
McFadden Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 A lot of people have brought it to my attention that while they are talking and I'm looking at them, I make a sarcastic face like I think they're stupid. Even when that's not what I'm thinking. A lot of faces don't mean anything and are unintentional!
Trialbyfire Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 If I give that look, I intend it. Nothing secret about me with facial expressions in a social environment. Business is something else. You do not make frowny faces at your clients.
