vatanna Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Hi, I haven't posted here before but I have a real problem here, let's see... I recently divorced my husband because he was always cheating. I was able to prove it and got a great settlement, I even got a timeshare of his that I didn't know about... The problem is I’m stuck paying for it, so I want to dump it right away. I looked into ebay and craigslist but everything's so cluttered I can't realy see those options working. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks a lot.
GALT Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Google Timeshare Resales there are tons of companies that will do that. I believe there is even one called just that with the dot com after it. Or you could give away the weeks to a charitible cause and deduct the FMV from your taxes as a charitible deduction.
TomArmy Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 In your case it’s definitely worth the money to pay for a resale service, like timeshare resale, or a transfer service like timeshare relief to get rid of it. I admit I'm not an expert on timeshares but my parents are big into properties, real estate, etc. They both agree timeshares are a bust and we kids got drilled on this rather frequently before taking family trips.
