Spacecowboy79 Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Okay here is my story: I met this really great woman about a week ago. She came down for a weekend event in my home town with my sister. The first night was great, The whole group wanted to go down to the local bar but I didn't, and when they asked her if she wanted to go, she declined and decided to stay at the house and visit with me. We talked for almost 3 hours about anything and everything. I was feeling a good vibe from this gal. Nothing happened the first night except for great conversation. We said goodnight and headed off to bed. The next day there was a number of events going on in town, one of which was a parade which I was driving a vehicle through. I asked her if she wanted to ride with me and she was immediately interested, so we did. That night there was a huge house party that I was dj'ing and she was there. It was a great time. We danced, laughed, had fun, etc. The rest of the night I will leave to all of your imaginations. The next morning she had to leave. She wanted my number, so I gave it to her. This was Sunday. I was leaving town for a few days on Wednesday so I ignored the "3 day" rule by a day and called her Tuesday night to see if she wanted to visit for awhile. Knowing it was finals week, I knew she would be busy. She said she was studying hard for a final wednesday morning and was not "in the mood" for anything. I tend to over analyze things and took that as "I don't want to see you again." So I asked her flat out if there was any chance I would see her again this summer. She said "call me when I get back from my hometown at the end of the month. So that is where it's at. There are a few more details to this story but I don't want to type for 2 hours! My question for the ladies here is: Was I just a fling? I only wanted to see her before I left town for a few days in the hopes of just saying hello, nothing else. I really hope that she doesn't think I was just making a "booty call." I am really interested in this gal and I do not want her to think that I am a desperate guy. I am looking for possible dating/relationship material, and the way we hit it off seemed like I was going in the right direction. Where am I at with this? I will leave this here until I get some responses, then I will add to the story if requested.

If so: Cool it down and call her in a few wks and see what response u get. If she's not enthusiastic then don't contact her again. If not: No comment and disregard above.
