Can anyone here sleep curled up with or while touching your SO? I really wish I could but I can't. I love being curled up with my bf and being entangled in him but no matter how much I try I cannot sleep like that. He'll fall asleep in any position and tries to sleep with his arms around me, he'll even say "don't move, sleep like this with me." For me it feels great for a couple minutes then my arm starts to fall asleep, it gets too hot, my elbow starts to itch, his breathing tickles my ear and so on. I have to sleep in my stomach, arms and legs stretched out, butt in the air. Am I the only one or is it rare for couples to sleep all curled up together?

I like to start out curled up together, and sometimes can sleep like that for a while, but I usually get too hot, or my arms fall asleep, or I just want to sprawl. I will snuggle up against the SO in the middle of the night , but being able to sleep all tangled together, while nice for a while, is just a bit too much for me.

It's funny with us. We both sleep on our sides. We do the "spooning" thing. But if one of us has to turn over to the other side, the other has to turn too. It's annoying sometimes because I'll be all comfy and he'll want to turn over. And sometimes I need to shift to the other side and he doesn't want to but he does.

We don't end up sleeping that way the whole night though. Just when we first fall asleep.

Funny thing I read once is that couples who touch feet (meaning their feet touch) in bed are more intimate and have a better relationship than couples who don't. Isn't that weird? Generally, I don't like my feet to be touched. So I don't know how valid that is.

Same here...

We do touch our toes though while we sleep...I like that feeling...

In a king bed it is easy to sprawl all out and not be near one another except for the toes/feet...

I do that too for a few seconds, or I'll kiss his shoulders, but if he notices he'll rollover in his sleep and start hugging me, and I'm like "no no go back to your spot I just wanted to kiss you"

That's interesting, me and my bf do that, and sometimes he'll 'hold' my foot with his, I always assumed that it was because he had a thing for feet

Either way works fine with me although both my ex-partners always liked some form of contact.

It's nice when you have a partner wrapped around you.

That's funny about you guys and the feet thing. Allina, my H does that thing too with trying to hold my foot or feet with his. But I don't really like it..especially if he accidentally scratches me with his toenail:sick::sick: I know I'm weird that way...plus he has the ugliest feet I've ever seen on a man!:laugh:I mean really ugly.

Good thing we met in the fall and he kept his socks on for the first few months of our relationship...now I know why!:p I would have kept those puppies hidden too if I were him.:sick:

I can't sleep with someone touching me....even my toes.

I liked to curl up or spoon (I liked to be the one outside... because I liked to stuck my nose between his shoulder blades), but only for about 15-30 min.. then it's dodo time... no more spooning around... LOL

That's why I like to have my king size bed all by myself now... no more touching, farting or snoring... Total peace!!! LOL

This sounds perfect to me. I think we need a king size bed, or a cal king whatever is bigger.

Ha ha Lizzie! I knew someone was going to ask about "dodo"

I remember "Fait Dodo" (the song) from elementary school.

It just means sleepy time. It's hard to translate because English doesn't really have a comparable word.

I thought that was the baby word for poop

I can sleep snuggled in the winter but not for long in the summer. Too hot and sweaty.

But When H. and I were engaged we lived together in a one-room studio apartment for almost a year, and we slept in a twin bed!!! So we were forced to snuggle or one of us would fall out. And this was in Houston, where it is over 90 degrees for six months out of the year.

(To top it off, all that time we weren't having intercourse as per his religious beliefs, so I think that is why I have "issues". Ha ha.)

Now that's love, the waiting on sex would have been hard for me though.

Ah, well I don't know anything about babies

:lmao::lmao: Me too. I was like "spooning makes Lizzie have to poop?"

You guys are cracking me up with the dodo/poop thing!:lmao:

:lmao: Dodo is Kaka.

It's funny how people interpret "baby words"

I always thought kaka meant yuck. Or i've heard people refer to their baby's genitals as thier kaka's.

My girls always called their bottles choochoo's. Everyone would look at me and ask "what the hell is a choochoo?"

Thanks for the laugh guys, really! need it today.

I wish that I could sleep still in the same position as we began with, but somehow the next morning we are usually on opposite sides of the bed.:o

My fiance likes to sleep spooning or with my head on top of his chest and my leg swung over. Thats fine for a little bit but i like to move around and sprawl out. But every time i try to move when he is asleep and i get comfortable he wakes up finds me and finds some way to lay on me!! Then I'm like DAMN!!!! thought i might get away lol

What a funny thread. I LOVE to spoon my partner while sleeping. There are times that I want to be so close that I'm practically on the other side of her. My gf hates it though, so that's one thing I will have to get used to not having. We are currently arranging a compromise though.

I love cuddling but it can be difficult to stay that way all night. I've woken up one side of my face all sweaty, ugh!! Or my neck is hurting, arm asleep, etc...but the only way I have slept all night is with the guy on his back while I am on my stomach with my arm thrown across his chest. Sometimes its in OK sub for a pillow, depending on the guy!

I love the touching feet thing...dont know why though!

I don't mind as long as I can move. Generally I'm fine once I find a postion I'm comfortable with.

But he likes it more than I do. I'm really tiny so I fit in his pocket space like a teddy. Can be annoying at times because I can't move and I sometimes get too hot.

I prefer him on his back. Easier for me and more comfortable.

Oh and no we hardly end up in the same position because I move around a lot in my sleep. But if I don't move then we do.

I can't reach his feet unless I move down. He's taller. Don't think that's valid when height is involved. Plus I refuse to sleep under the covers.

I love spooning and cuddling. Sometimes, during the night we may move apart....but if one or the other of us wakes up, we scoot back together.

My favorite feeling in the world is to have his arm curled around my waist, as we sleep.
