Hey BZ, go to FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) at the top of the forum page. Click on it and there is a link that gives all the acroynms and their meanings. I think, if I remember right, it's toward the bottom of the page.
whichwayisup Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 http://www.loveshack.org/forums/faq.php?faq=messages#faq_acronyms This should help, and if it's not on list, ask away!
Lynna Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 So glad you started this thread. It took me awhile to make my first post because I did not know the acronyms! While I was initially reading, I started a list of acronyms that are not on the FAQ page so I could figure out what was going on. Anyone, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong on any of these! A = affair BH/BW = betrayed husband/wife BIL = brother in law C = cheater CS = cheating spouse D = divorce DD (DDay) = discovery day FIL = father in law FWS = former wandering spouse IC = individual counseling IDK = I don't know M = marriage MC = marriage counseling MIL = mother in law NC = no contact SIL = sister in law STBX = soon to be ex STFU = shut the (expletive) up WS/WH/WW = wandering spouse/husband/wife WTH = what the (expletive) xGF = ex-girlfriend xH = ex-husband xOM = ex-other man xOW = ex-other woman xW = ex-wife NPD???

Author believinZ Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 FWIW, YW... Mr. Lucky hahaha... I got it... "FWIW" :-) I know what you are saying... I feel so proud. I need to find a way to use "WYSIWYG" because I do believe that is the longest acronym I have ever seen... :-) oh and FWIW...I am very glad I have found LS. This all reminds me of the TV commercial where the mom and daughter are arguing using IM language... hahahahaha... this reminds me of my 14 year old... I will be able to understand her better perhaps. Although, hopefully she is not using any of these acronyms... okay rambling now... thanks.
