I should have titled this "How to talk to my long distance virgin boyfriend about sex without scaring him off" Details: Been seeing a guy for two months. A month ago he left for the summer. At the time, I felt it was too early to talk to him about anything serious, but now there is something I want to know, so that I dont waste a summer waiting on a guy who doesnt see eye to eye on one important thing. What his feelings about premarital sex are. Is he waiting for marriage? I should tell you first off, he is younger than me by six years, I am 29 he is 23, and I think he is a virgin. I would have asked him outright, but he left after only three weeks of us seeing each other. We have been taking it slow, but have done pretty much everything but have intercourse. And I am fine to wait because I wasnt ready when he left. I wanted to get to know him more. He made references to us having sex, but wanted to wait as well. So, I am a bit leary about having this kind of discussion over the phone two thousand miles from him, but I gotta know! How should I approach this? I dont want him to think that that is all I am interested in. Should I just wait til he comes back? I dont want to date anyone else, but again, waiting for a two more months only for it to end when he gets back seems a bit ridiculous. Please help!
norajane Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Tell him you are looking forward to seeing him in a couple months, and you can't wait to show him how much when he gets there. That should spark a flirty/sexy conversation and you can just ask. Or wait a couple months if you really don't want to bring it up over the phone. 2 months isn't that big a deal, especially since you're not interested in dating anyone else anyway.
