electric_sheep Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 This post is sort of different, but hopefully someone will find it amusing. Last night my girlfriend, her friend, and myself all went to the river around 10 pm and drank a bunch of beer and ate a pizza. We were hanging out under this train bridge, when I had the bright idea of jumping from this one concrete pylon to another. The jump back looked impossible, because one of the pylons was a foot or two higher than the other (it's easy to jump down, not up). Anyway, it was obvious I was going to get soaked, so I just took all my clothes off and chucked them over to the other side. Then I went for a wonderful beer fueled swim under the moon. Thing is, it just felt so good being naked around them that when I got out I just stayed naked. I was also planning on jumping back in again, so I just sat there naked talking to them for about 45 minutes. It's hard to describe, but suffice it to say it was really liberating and exciting and titillating all at the same time. It was also a bit of a sexual turn on. My girlfriend and I both have a crush on this girl, and being naked around the two of them was definitely pushing my buttons. Every now and then I'd jump in the water again. I knew my girlfriend wasn't bothered, as she is kind of kinky and the two of us go to nude beaches at every opportunity. I asked her friend and she said she didn't mind either, but a side of me wonders if maybe she did and she just wanted to "roll with it". Anyway. I think I'm suffering from some guilt now, for exposing the poor thing to my naked body, and parading around and being an exhibitionist like that. I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to have that much fun, and it's not lost on me that the whole thing could be interpretted as being kind of creepy. But ****, lets face it... sometimes being kind of creepy can be really fun. So, was I being a freak? Did I victimize my girlfriends friend? I've been told I have a fairly nice body, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference at all. What would you girls think if your friends boyfriend got naked and went for a swim, then just sat on the rocks with you all and chit-chatted? She is fairly liberal, if that makes a difference. Perhaps I'm making too big a deal out of nothing, being the product of a typically prudish American upbringing. One thing is certain... I'm going to bang my gf's brains out when I get home from work today.
quankanne Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 frankly, the only creepy thing about your whole post is that you jumped into a river, and nekkid at that – boy, don't you know what kind of pollutants get dumped into rivers nowadays?!!! okay, freaky over-excited parent moment aside, I don't imagine the skinny dipping thing was too out of the ordinary ... believe me, if this girl had a problem with nudity, she'd have said something or left. Most likely, she just went with the flow of things ... nice relaxed evening, good beer, good food, good company ... so he strips ... that's cool. something like that was going through her mind, I imagine.
Author electric_sheep Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 boy, don't you know what kind of pollutants get dumped into rivers nowadays?!!! You know, I've been swimming in this river for 10 years, but since swimming in it last night I've been kind of congested. I wonder if it is/was polluted? They have signs warning you not swim after a big rain... which we just had, I think. Most likely, she just went with the flow of things ... nice relaxed evening, good beer, good food, good company ... so he strips ... that's cool. something like that was going through her mind, I imagine. Good. I hope so! I figured I was making much ado about nothing.
Aloros Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Meh. It's really not creepy. If she's liberal, and she said she was fine with it, she probably was. I'm a painter, so I see naked people all the time. I've chatted with them while I was sketching, and there was never anything weird about it. It's just a naked person. Honestly, I don't see why people get so worked up.
tanbark813 Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 So you didn't even get the girls naked? Lame. Do better next time.
quankanne Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 *spews iced tea over her desk* tanbark, you're terrible! They have signs warning you not swim after a big rain... which we just had, I think. that's because the additional water stirs up all the muck at the bottom of the river/lake, which stirs up micro-cooties that can make you ill or at least make the drinking water stinky. This is what's happening with the water getting piped into our home by the local water supply corporation – too much rain muckies it up. However that's not what I was worried about but toxic crap put there on purpose by someone.
jcster Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Last night my girlfriend, her friend, and myself all went to the river around 10 pm and drank a bunch of beer and ate a pizza. Did you wait 1/2 hour before swimming?
Storyrider Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Sounds fun to me. I have happy teen-aged memories of sneaking into city pools with my friends (male and female) after hours and swimming naked. I loved watching the guys, not for sexual reasons, but b/c they were like little boys at a swimming hole--exuberant. They would jump from the diving board and cup their hands between their legs to protect their balls, and whoop like Tarzan. Swimming at night in a hot climate is kind of dreamy, the water and the air are almost the same temperature, and everything is glistening and black. Getting caught by the police made it all the more fun, especially since we were never arrested, just lectured. Ah, the good old days. Sigh.
silentcharon Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Heh, or a big storm can fill up a river fast. There's usually a dam or a reversior (sp?) somewhere, and there's all that water stored up there. So if someone goes swimming, and the people running the pipes decide to open the gates. Sounds like a fun ride. Or sometimes, water breaks loose somewhere and comes rushing down the river without warning. It's usually common sense not to go swimming in a local river etc during or after a heavy storm
Star Gazer Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 So you didn't even get the girls naked? Lame. Do better next time. Agreed. You should have at least had some pull over your GF.
