Aloros Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 My bf reminded me that our 1-year anniversary is coming up in about a month. I'm not the most romantic person; I've never really celebrated anniversaries before. Still, I'm head over heels with this guy, and I'd like to do something nice with/for him. He's not a bleeding heart romantic either, so anything too cutesy would just embarrass us both. We don't do flowers, cards, and chocolates...we're more books, dinners, candles, and bubble baths....if that makes any sense. He mentioned briefly going out to a nice dinner, but I know neither of us would be that into it. We're both very good cooks, so in a practical sense...why bother? I suppose the atmosphere might be nice...my place has two cats, his has a dinky ikea table and a small dining room. He also mentioned maybe going out of town for a weekend...which might be nice. Any ideas? I'd love to surprise him with something.

Hot Air Balloon ride. Tell him to come pick you up but leave your front door slightly a jar with rose petals leading up to your room with you lying on the bed in sexy underwear.
