I need some musical help from you ladies and gentlemen for my spinning class tonight and the rest of the summer. What gets you pumped up and going when your working out? I need a change up my musical tastes. If you have any suggestion let me know....or upload a few good songs for me. Thanks!!

What an awesome job you have! :)

Though it's usually not my musical preference I love hip hop and pop as workout music.

Anything by Justin Timberlake, Rhianna, T-Pain, Sean Paul...

80's music really gets me going too, especially Billy Jean

I would work out to the Pussy Cat Dolls' songs. And anything similar.

Like allina, pop music isn't what I like listening to, really, but I find that it's great for working out. Or just dancing. You know, dance songs. Not dance songs that require you to know intricate dance steps, but those dance songs where you throw your hands in the air and just wiggle all over the place. (Yes, that's how I dance.)

Stuff like that.

For a while, I found that working out to Velvet Revolver was good. But maybe that's because it's lound and angsty and it gets me all pumped up.

Don't put slow songs or sad songs or anything "classic." They may be great to listen to, but not to work out to. Can you imagine working out to Floyd's "Wish you were here"? So, no. Don't do that.

Hip hop seems to be very "it" right now (unfortunately), so those popular overplayed songs you hear on the radio would probably be good. A lot of people like it, and even those who don't, like me, would probably not mind dancing/working out to it just cause it's so . . . dancy.

Oh and my favorite work out song is "Why can't I be you?" by The Cure. ta da.
