I've been told soo many times about how most young guys aren't ready to be committed, yada yada. Sure, it made sense. But only after a personal confirmation, do I really understand that its true. I always thought that if a guy likes the girl enough, it doesn't matter what stage he's at, he'll stick to her. My oh my, so wrong!!! I have just split with a guy, and now that I can think clearly, I see that he really did like me a lot! But he's in his very early 20s, and not even remotely ready to settle down. He's never even had a r/s that'd last over several months. Doh! Oh, as a side note, I do realize that it's about maturity level, not actual age, but they coincide in the general pattern, as far as I can see.
