i took this girl out that i just met. she seemed to have a great time, i was making her laugh a lot. then the next time i see her she acts like she never even met me before. and i see her again and again she practically ignores me. it makes no sense. do you think she's playing a game with me? i want to get to know her and ask her out again. what should i do? i see her on the bus maybe about twice a week.

well did you talk to her again after the date about another date or how she felt how the 1st date went. talk to her and you should get the answer whether she isnt into you or playing games ( sounds former to me ).

You just dont IGNORE people you have been drinking with.

Well, you CLEARLY respect her as a human being, so I can totally understand why she's so eager to chit-chat when she sees you!

SG, pretty funny.

How old are you and the girl, OP?

haha oh yeah, you got me there...you're so smart.

i'm 27 and she hasn't said how old she is but i think she's like between 27 and 29 years old.

Ummm...very immature for her age. I would move on if a grown woman were to play that kind of game. This type of action is how a sixteen year-old plays a guy.

yeah the whole thing just seems really silly to me. i'm just gonna continue looking for a good woman.

so yeah i saw her again today and of course there was very little conversation coming from her side.

why is it that when girls do this it drives some men, i.e. me, crazy and now i am thinking about her?

dammit i want her.

And odds are that if she was acting all clingy and couldn't wait to go out with you again you would be totally turned off. I think its human nature. We want what we can't have.

Depends. Did you not call her after your first date? Did you wait until you bumped into her again to talk to her? IF so, how long after the first date was that?

i waited till i bumped into her again. i think it was like a week later. but she ignored me...

before today, the last time i saw her was probably a month ago.

Mystery Solved !!!

If you had a good time on the date you should have called her the next day. By just waiting until you bumped into her again you sent her the message that you weren't that interested and couldn't be bothered to even just call her or ask her out again. She may have actually wanted to see you again but your lack of making an effort to talk to her has probably pissed her off.

What can you do to fix it? If you are really interested in dating her, then you need to call her and tell her that. Apologize for not calling her after the first date and ask her for a second chance. The worst that could happen is she says NO, but at least you tried.

You may still have a chance but the longer you wait the worse your chances are.

Good. Don't be too proud to grovel. You might have hurt her feelings by not calling.
