Ok I came to the state of no more physical activity with my legs that is crap. When I was small I use to play a ton of sports basket ball, tennis, football, softball, ping-pong, soccer when I was about 10 I developed this knee pain that hurt me when ever I bent my knees all the way down. My responce to this was to just not do it and keep going with all the activity. Well wrong responce aparently now 9 years later I can bearly walk on my legs without my knee muscules releasing and my knees bending. Medical tests show nothing is wrong but I hurt and cannot do sports.

 

I can walk perfectly normal - except on rare occations the pain is so great that I cannot walk right. I have tried wearing a knee sleeve but it doesn't work so I have a surgery to see what is in my knees.

 

I am just really sad that I cannot play sports I am 6.4 use to be around 200lbs now I have gained 10lbs because I cannot exercise - I only do things for upper boddy. I cannot even ride a bike :( . So any ideas of what I can do to keep myself in shape until I recover from surgery so I can get myself back on the sports track. I am still fairly muscular but yet not as much as when I was 17 that is two years ago.

According to my book on tennis training, you should use lunges to strenghten your legs. You should bend your knee 30-45 degrees to decrease stress if you have knee problems.

Try some floor exercises for the purposes of stretching and strengthening.

 

If they can't find anything wrong, physiotherapy might be a consideration. Take care.

How about long walks? I know its not much fun but it's the only exercise I do to control my weight.

Try first some breathing exercise, deep in deep out, try extending your legs, arms, cycling your legs, circle around arms, sit ups etc etc..but all in fresh air!!...

And then get professional help on how to or what to
