JaneInVegas Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Someone suggested to me to read the book "Why Men Love Bitches." I hope I don't sound like a commercial but that is one of the best books I've ever read! I started using some of the tactics suggested in the book, and I have noticed a change in my ex in just 3 days. I am hoping to get back together with him, and this has been very encouraging to me. It's really NOT about being a 'bitch', she says right upfront she uses that term very loosely, and I think she prolly did it out of association because men use that term so freely. (well, some men anyway lol) I don't agree with 100% of everything in the book, but I definitely recommend it to all females out there who have men troubles.
Freedom Now Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Great book. And there is a sequel..."Why Men Marry Bitches..." I recommend them both highly.
Zona76 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 My Favorite is "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" It settles a great deal in the art of conversation and why the other sex is offended in something you say. You have to look at the picture as if you are not only learning a new language but conforming your lifestyle to a strange new land. It does make a lot of sense
Lizzie60 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 and I liked it... From a review: No, the new bitch is "a woman who won't bang her head against the wall obsessing over someone else's opinion- be it a man or anyone else in life. She understands that if someone does not approve of her, it's just one person's opinion; therefore, it's of no real importance. She doesn't try to live up to anyone else's standards- only her own." I already had applied these ideas in my life... since I separated 6 years ago (this June) and it does work for me. and another good book is: A sexy woman is one who exudes confidence: The Ropes: Girls have the Rules, Women know the Ropes
