fray718 Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Has anyone here ever like someone SO MUCH but then decided to give it up and let that person go because perhaps you felt very insecure, or you don't think you are ready, or you are battling depression and don't want to complicate your life more, or think that person is out of your league and will probably break your heart one day so you rather let it go now than get hurt later, etc? I know it's weak, but I've let someone go before because I was insecure and scared of getting hurt eventhough I REALLY REALLY like this person. It seems like I let him go BECAUSE I liked him so much and knew he could hurt me alot. Looking back, I really regret it though. Has anyone ever have this experience?

But if I find someone I really like I ALWAYS break up with them within a few weeks. I come up with something that annoys me, decide they are not interested, or do something to make them so. Basicly.. its a curse! I have a really close friend who is the exact same way. I tend to sabatoge the relationship myself and she tends to find something little about them. Either way.. it ends up the same.

But aside from losing interest like that, what about I mean like really letting someone you still like alot go and being heartbroken about it?

She let me go because she felt she couldn't give me all she wanted to give me because of what happened to her in the past relationship recently. She wants to be with me, I make her happy and she makes me happy. But something inside of her just couldn't let herself to trust me. We argued about this situation almost every week in our 2 month relationship and yesterday night, I guess was the last straw. Had a extremely giant fight with the screaming and yelling plus name callings. And then... yea...you get the idea. Is like I understand her situation but can't seem to register in it in my head. Everything is so perfect at times which me & her felt but other times....
