meadow Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Well.. he hadn't called for a few days so I gave him a ring just to say hey and had the strangest conversation of my life. He didnt answer (normal for him with everyone) and called back a few mins later. Before I could say anything he said he knows he hadn't called in a while and he was sorry. Weird tone in his voice. I have NO idea whats going on!?!?!?!?! He said he was driving and would call me later. Well.. I kinda dont even want to wait and have declared it over in my head!! I just dont get it! It seemed like he was so enamored with me and called me every day for weeks. Now.. nothing. Flat out.. im pissed! And I have no idea what to think. Anyone?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I doubt he had someone else in the car that he didn't want you to hear because he called you back. He said he will call you later so you will just have to wait. Don't jump to conclusions or over react though cause it could go either way. You don't want to put yourself though stress that could be nothing and you don't want to get so worked up that you may explode and say things you will regret. I went though the same kinda thing, my guy from day one called me almost every day then around month 3 it was like he fell off the face of the earth and I only herd from him maybe once in 10 days. I was freaking too, then when I asked him about it and he said "I told you once I started school I was going to be busier" well he hadn't started yet and I wouldn't take that for a reason anyway. But then after that he started calling like usual and even though he is busier now he calls me ever other day or so. So even though I don't know what that strange gap was, I am guessing maybe he needed some time to himself to deal with his own thing or maybe it wa a test to see how I would react. Who knows but we are even better now. So don't worry too much yet, hopefully he will call and he will explain.

I definitly dont know whats going on with him. But your reply helped a lot. I guess it was moving pretty fast and maybe he freaked out! Who knows right? Now im debating if I should go out with another guy that called me this weekend. I dont like getting attached and I always give up early, but I dont think I should have to restrict myself to a possible flake.. agree?

I don't like getting attached and I always give up early, but I don't think I should have to restrict myself to a possible flake.. agree? I think taking a breather and accepting the date is a good idea, you haven't committed to him yet. That way it will take your mind off the first guy and you will find out if you and this guy have chemistry. Plus if guy number one never calls back you won't have kicked yourself for passing up the date, plus if he never calls back and you and number two hit it off then even better!

Maybe he's been in jail and didn't want to call collect. Just kidding, trying to lighten things up. I don't like when the pattern changes, but I also don't like talking while driving. You'll know soon enough what the deal is. Try to be patient. If it's something devastating, come back for condolence. I have a wicked headache so I'll probably be up for awhile.
