Recently my boyfriend and I went through a nasty break up. We loved each other very much.. but didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things in the last bit. It's been a messy, drawn out break up.. and he's doing NC now for about two weeks. I'm not sure if I'll hear from him again.

While we were together, he became concerned about my eating habits (probably that last 4 months or so). I have struggled with a borderline eating disorder a few years ago, but managed to recover. However due to a number of thigns going on lately, it has resurfaced. With me in denial about my problems, there were a few fights about my 'unhealthy attitudes towards myself and food'.

Since we have broken up, I have been medically diagnosed with an eating disorder, and am beginning a long process of recovery.

My question is.. considering he was so worried... should I let my ex know? I don't want him to think I want him back to help, and nor do I really want, or expect him to come running or even reply. I know I'm not accountable to him any more, and he might not want to hear it at all..

I'm just unsure as to whether the 'right thing' to do is to let him know or just let it go?

Thanks.
