amerikajin Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 http://nomarriage.com/ I personally recommend this web site.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I actually checked out the website. Yes, it's funny. I'm just wondering if you're serious about it being a great website, Amerikajin? What really took me off-guard was picture of the Brazilian V/s American woman at the bottom of the page.
Author amerikajin Posted May 21, 2007 Author Posted May 21, 2007 I didn't look at it. And you can't make me either! Do what you're told, woman!

This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 You're Brazilian, right? LOL. The way the website is, it's an either-or scenario, and I sure as hell want to be counted in the "Brazilian woman" category.
Author amerikajin Posted May 21, 2007 Author Posted May 21, 2007 LOL. The way the website is, it's an either-or scenario, and I sure as hell want to be counted in the "Brazilian woman" category. Yeah, you're from Midwest Brazil in my book, toots.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Yeah, you're from Midwest Brazil in my book, toots. "Midwest" Brazil? Nope, I ain't that hot. I have a theory that Brazilian women get their looks from the "original" Latin American genes mixed with random German genes.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 By the way, I found some of the "no-marriage" reasons pretty accurate. But I think some of the theories apply to the American woman, too. It's not all her fault. I guess I'm glad I'm not an American man. ha haa. So at least I have a decent chance at a decent marriage
Touche Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Do what you're told, woman! Would you believe that I still haven't looked at it? And I won't either. I don't do what men tell me to do...that's why they love me!
alphamale Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I wonder if the Three Stooges' Women's Haters club is still a going concern
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I wonder if the Three Stooges' Women's Haters club is still a going concern OK, I missed that one. Are these three stooges LSers? I'm guessing Amerikajin (because he started this thread) and Woggle might be two of them. Who's the third?

This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 You have to ask? Oh no... *eerie music plays* ALPHA??!

This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 ahahahahahhahaahhahahah aaha hah ha http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Stooges I know who the real three stooges are. I just didn't know you were among the three women-hating LS stooges.
alphamale Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I know who the real three stooges are. I just didn't know you were among the three women-hating LS stooges. No...there was an episode of the Stooges where they were members of The Woman Haters Club and they wore pins with "W.H." on them. I believe it was the first Stooges short ever made. This woman tried to get Larry to quit the club and then marry her.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Wow, TTSP, you're good! You know I'm shmart. Almost as shmart as the caveman in the GEICO commercial.
Touche Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 You know I'm shmart. Almost as shmart as the caveman in the GEICO commercial. And you're cute too. Almost as cute as the caveman's therapist.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 And you're cute too. Almost as cute as the caveman's therapist. Gee...thanks, Touche. Was the caveman's therapist cute? (I thought she was uppity and high-handed). Eksh-cuze me, my mom'sh calling...I'll put her on shpeaker phone...
green-eyed beauty Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Hey, men can spout off all they want about all these unfounded generalizations about women, however it's women who really have to be wary about the men they choose to date/marry. It's men who are the ones crowding the prisons, and check out the child sex offender websites...the lists are dominated with mens' names, very few women in comparison. In addition, who are statistically dominating domestic violence and abuse arrests? Yup. You guessed it. Men.
This_Too_Shall_Pass Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 While I don't think that men are any worse than women, I do think that Amerikajin needs to consider both sides of the no-marriage theory. To me, the website is more of a joke with rakish humor, but I'll still comment for the sake of argument. And I'll speak in the context of "American women and men", because that's what the OP's thread talks about. So American women may not be the best marriage material according to the website. But what about American men? Proportionally, they're almost as much, if not more, shallow as the women. For every insincere, shallow American woman, there's a corresponding insincere, fickle American man. The reason we don't see a women's website denouncing American men is because the average American woman doesn't have much of a choice, as far as men go. Not many of them would marry a non-American - for a variety of reasons.
