txwildorchid Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 One of my good friends that I work with, [someone that I have known for about 5 yrs], has been broadcasting to people of how "broke" she was and would be until the 22nd of this month. She has even told me that she was cashing in her family's change jar to make it until next payday. All of which, I've listened to for about 3 wks. Just this past week, I recently had some money stolen from me at my office. The only way that it could have been stolen from me was by someone that knew where I kept my purse in my office & knew when I took my breaks. [i can count on 1 hand of how many people that could have known this]. My friend is one of those people that had privilege to this information. The same day that this incident occurred, my friend was late in meeting me for break. She had called me & asked me to meet her downstairs & then she kept me waiting for about 5 mins. only to have the excuse that she had to go to the bathroom. I'm kind of in a dilemma now...I think that she is the one that stole my money but I don't know if I should confront her or not...??? If I do confront her, what should I say?
