One date, went well, now he emails me only

I went out with a guy on a blind date. It seemed to have gone well. We obviously both liked each other. It ended with just a kiss on the cheek. He asked if we could get together again. I said yes.

He called 2 days later asking if I was interested in going out, I said sure, when would you like to go out? He was thinking then said this week was pretty full and he'd call again when things slow down. Ok, not a problem although a little odd.

I don't hear from him again until almost 2 weeks later. He emailed me "Hi!"

That's it, just HI

So, I responded, Hello

Then, nothing.

Then a week later another email saying "happy mother's day"

I didn't respond.

Then 2 days later he emails me "Hey, I thought we were gonna get married...lol"

That's it!

He's a wimpy dude who is expecting you to ask him out. If you want to date this guy with you making all the effort, and being the "man" in the relationship, and never really knowing if he's that into you, ask him out.

Look, if the guy was really into you, he would be calling and contacting you more than once every 2 weeks. If you wanna know wtf is going on, ASK HIM what his intentions are when it comes to you two dating again. Tell him "hey I like you, but if you're not interested, let me know so I don't waste my time."

Just tell him to call you that you would prefer to not talk thru email to get to know someone and he will get the hint and start calling you.

 

Some people today ( younger ) with all the electronic stuff such as email and webpages as well as blackberry's and IM just prefer to hide behind them as they aren't as comfortable out in the open or on the phone and they don't really get how annoying it can be to try and get to know someone that way..
