My OP is vile and not based on reality. I asked the moderators to remove it , but I'm not sure they got my message, because its still here.

Acutally, wouldn't a moderator coming around behind you and tidying up your mess just "enable" your drunk posting? It might as well stand where you posted it, as a consequence of your actions.

 

And besides, once a discussion takes off on its own, even though it's still "your" thread, once others have invested energy into it, it's not really fair to pull it out from under them...

 

But back to the original topic - when I look at all the hot young things, I don't begrudge them their moment in the sun, as I remember I had mine, too. (Or, I should say, with the arrogant confidence of youth, I thought I was a hot young thing, having my moment in the sun...)

If you take care of yourself physically (gym/exercise) and eat right you can really reduce the effects of aging.

 

I find the people who look the youngest for their age sitting next to me at the gym pumping iron. Probably not a coincidence ;)
