I might call that "full figured."

I call myself "curvy," but people always tell me that I'm too small to be curvy.

But I am curvy, just small and curvy....so "full figured and curvy?"

Curvy is always good! Straight body build is good, too! Anything but very overweight or very underweight....there's a range.

Heck, guys just want a naked woman, anyway!

Yeah that is full figured possibly... depends on the eye... but also those women are beautiful...there are men out there who love that shape...

ok I will continue my search...

Yes, they are beautiful...and curvy, too...I think more men prefer their body types to that of the skinny/bony women with no softness to them.

I think most women are curvy, and can be smaller and curvy or bigger and curvy...

It's all good...

Posted
yea something like that...

ok but those women are very attractive have sex appeal and there is nothing wrong with that size...

Ew, too thin!

And, I hope I was clear in my post before. I just reread it and it seemed unclear.

I meant to say that I think men prefer women with curves and softness than bony/thin women. :)

yes something that they can wrap thier arms around...

But may I ask a question, does preference have to do with how you were brought up, you know what your mom looked like, as well as your race?

Like how women usually find someone like thier father...

which is not the case for me but whatever...

But you really can't generalize like that. Thank god you're wrong since my man, prefers thin women, and I'm thin.

So really one should say "some" men prefer women with curves...(although I have curves but they're just not as "curvy" I guess.)

All women have curves... that is why we are so great...

womens bodies are beautifull... men do though like a naked woman

but moreso it is the whole package of a woman... or am I mistaken?

like Touche said men are just as picky as women.

The women in the Delta Burke swimsuit ads are full-figured, plus-sized, as well as curvy, Scarlett Johanson or however you spell her last name is thin yet curvy, the pic of Nicole Richie is skinny. Salma Hayek is definitely curvy, yet also thin.

I am a size 6 and consider myself thin. I get called "thin" or "slender" up to a size 8.

When I get down to a 6 or lower, I get told I am "thin" "slender" "skinny girl" or "could gain a few pounds." I have been as thin as a 4. However...a lot of women are not really "thin" at a size 8, just my height and the way I carry it, I am still thin.

I know it's confusing, but I hope this helps clear things up.

yeah but they are all beautiful... even NC still has allure.

But I ask again, I think that it depends on the man what is race is and how comfortable he is with himself as far as the woman he likes to snuggle up with.

Touche, I bet you are thin, but not bony and skinny like the Nicole Ritchie pic. She could put an eye out with one of her hip bones!

I think words get in the way here. Everyone DOES have their preference for body types, men and women. Thin doesn't have to mean underweight, nor does full figured mean overweight.

nor does full figured mean overweight.

then what does it mean?

while you're at it NICKI could you define the following also?

ample

chubby

curvaceous

plump

robust

rotund

shapely

tubby

voluptouous

zaftig

I think "full-figured" means curvy with larger breasts and hip. But that's just my connotation of the word.

So, for you, "full-figured" means overweight? That's why words can be so loaded, and so personal.

I've heard women say they are voluptous and people think they mean "fat." They just mean big boobs!

This is true. Seen some Paris Hilton Look alikes who looked very uncomfortable in their skin and I've seen some average girls with curves who where never really at a loss for a man. It can go both ways. The media does influence what people consider sexy in this day and age and some of the results can be very dangerous. I won't lie though, seen it at the bar a million times, if you think you're sexy and carry yourself with some sort of class, and dress like you care about yourself, you will turn heads!!

thats a nice thought MRM but its hard to look sexy and classy if you're fat. Thats just the way it is.

Oh, so you are directing the question at her? Why can't the rest of us give our opinion of the definitions? I think you're not supposed to direct posts toward individual members.

This is cliche but it's also true, put your best foot forward mate, you never know. I've seen some pencil thin black guys with some HUGE women and that is they way they prefer it. Look your best, you never know who's looking :) Fat, sexy and classy, you'd be surprised.

I thought a lot of those women in the Delta Burke swimsuit ad were quite attractive. Yes, you might consider them "fat." Emme the model is really quite lovely.

If you watch the soap opera Young and the Restless, the character Colleen is young but very zaftig (a lot of guys on here would say fat), but she's beautiful and always has guys falling all over her on the show. I like that, they have a stunningly beautiful young woman who is probably a size 14 I would say. It shows all women her age (19) that you don't have to be a size 0 to be attractive. Shun eating disorders.

no, its up for anyone to answer...

Well I didn't say not to look your best....i meant that, all other things being equal, a person will look better at their normal weight than being 50lbs heavy.

and anything in between is datable??

Skinny women with big boobs = Yum.

Big women with small boobs = Sucks for her.

Small women with small boobs = No worries.

My sides hurt from laughing.

Yeah being black myself, I think sometimes it's a cause issue as well cause when some black guys look at a woman, we say oh man she is think as hell. but a white guy may see her and be like naw man she fat as F*ck.

It's all about perception.

But myself personally I love a thick girl, who will happily take some backshots! lol.;)
