You sometimes creep me out the way you think Star! I was coming to post this note when I caught your mushy one ;)

For the women, what are some random things a man could do to show you they are thinking about you or something along those lines. Nothing big, just looking to add to my toolbox. There's leaving little notes and pampering, but what else?

What are some cool things you have had done for you that you never forgot? Good things I mean

Actually, my boyfriend did something really sweet last weekend. He came to visit me for the weekend at college. I walked him out to his car to say goodbye and then went back in my apartment. Later that night I went to work out and got in my car. I noticed something on my windshield. It was a note from my bf saying how much he loved me, and would miss me this week. It's just little things like that shows me how much he cares.

Also when we are both at work during the week, he'll send me a text message saying how he misses me and hopes I have a good day. I like that because it means he is thinking about me while he is at work. It's not neccessarily about my bf showering me with expensive gifts, I actually like little sentimental things that he does for me just to show that he loves me. Try the windshield note on your gf Krytellan, she'll love it!

GREAT MINDS, Krytie!!

Things guys have done in the past...Hmmm:

Notes, texts, emails, phone calls at unexpected moments just to say they were thinking of me.

Coming with me to a funeral.

Rubbing my feet - especially bc I knew they HATED feet.

Taking me on spontaneous, random day-trips. I love taking off to Tahoe or SF.

Made dinner for me AND did the dishes.

Drew me a bath with tons of bubbles.

Took my car to get it washed.

Doggy-sat.

Took me on a picnic.

Let me pick the movie.

I dunno what else - Krytie, you're doin' just fine!!! :-)

Hasn't happened in awhile, but some things in the past:

1. When he bought me an iPod for Christmas he had it preloaded with songs I like.

2. When he returns from business trips he brings me a "surprise" (usually the airline peanuts and a tshirt or hat, but it's the thought that counts).

3. He stole two of my favorite videos from when I was a kid and converted to them to DVD for me and even made custom labels for them (the movies were Unico movies for those interested in specifics).

4. When he says, "You look too cute to make dinner tonight, let's go out."

5. A few years ago at work he showed up with a picnic lunch and we ate at the lake while watching the friday lunch live music (my office building backed up to a lake and they did a summer concert series for the folks that worked in the building one year on Fridays).

LOL, I said I do and now he don't. ;)

Oh, another one an exboyfriend did. One year I was sick on the 4th of July. He taped the fireworks and as soon as I was not contagious he surprised me with the video and we watched them in bed together.

That is one of the coolest things I've ever heard.

My last bf didn't do much but there were so many little things he could have done. Remember, these are little things but added together caused some resentment in me.

-shovelling a 3-foot snow drift so I wouldn't have to climb over it carrying 2 duffelbags, a bag with 2 bottles of wine, and a cooler with groceries I brought for him.

-having a clean towel for me in his bathroom, so I don't have to use the same one week after week

-don't stop making coffee in the morning after the first 3 months of getting up early with me to make a fresh pot, and don't switch to instant coffee after 3 months of making fresh coffee

-surprise me with flowers

-set the dining table instead of plopping my plate in front of the tv

Sorry, I am having a bad day. I broke up 2 months ago and today he emails me with a list of things about me that always bothered him. Whatever makes him feel better LOL what a loser.

Aw, sorry, MWC, your ex sounds like a big loser.:(

Send him back a list of what's so great in your life now. Make sure #1 says: "You aren't in it!"

Throw in #2. "I don't have to fake orgasms anymore!"

Really, you are better off without him. I can't believe he sent you a list. In the future, don't read anything else he sends you.

And don't believe what he wrote. He's most likely trying to assuage his own guilt and shortcomings!

AW.... I am loving the "I am happy and loved up threads" SG and Krytellan. I am in that gang too, its nice huh!

The nicest thing my BF did for me recently was go to the supermarket and buy ladies sanitary supplies, chocolate and painkillers for me because I was feeling sick from too much wine the night before.

He didn't bat an eyelid.

He is so lovely, and does little lovely things for me all the time.
