Guest Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Like others, I found this forum browsing the net. I was impressed with the level of support and advice. My story: Married 10 years, one 7-yr old daughter, wife went back to work as an elementary school teacher when daughter started kindergarten. My wife is a great teacher, won several awards, but works (70 -80wk) many hours doing so. Our sex life, 3X a week or so for a long time, declined from there simply because my wife is exhausted from her job. She comes home, wants to veg in front of the TV for an hour and then heads for bed. if I initiate, she is "too tired" says let's wait til the weekend when she is more rested. This led to arguements (pretty much the only thing we fight about) capped by her telling me this last weekend that she only wanted to have sex on the weekend - M -F were off limits. She thinks my objection to this setup is some "macho" pride because I'm not dictating the time. I think she is being unreasonable, that sex can't always be scheduled like a dental appt. I'm wondering what others think. Thanks.
