Mustang1984 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 About a month ago I met a wondeful girl who I was crazy about from the beggining. We hung out as friends for about 2 weeks, before I asked her out. When I asked her out I told her how wonderul I thought she was and how she made me feel. About 6 months ago i got hurt real bad from a 5 1/2 year relationship. I dated other girls, but none could replace my ex. Then this girl came along and for the first time in 6 months I was happy. Everything went great for about a week. She would tell me how happy I made her which was the most wonderful feeling ever. She was very affectionate with me and there was a lot of intimacy. We finaly slept together one night which went great. However soon after that night she began to be distant. I knew something was wrong. About a week after we slept together I approached her to ask if she was ok since she seemed distant and depressed. She told me I was an amazing guy, but that she wished we went slower. She then said she thought she wanteda relationship, but that she now realized she didnt. She siadshe stil wasnt totally over her ex. She cried a little and hugged me and said she was sorry. She also said she knew she was giving up the most amazing guy ever. I work with this girl so I see her everyday. Since then we have still been hanging out in our usual group of friends and even just us sometimes. She is very friendly to me and even buys me dinner and drinks at the bar a lot for some reason. Last night we went out to a bar with a few friends. She bought me drinks and acted very nice to me. We all live in the same building so when we got back I walked her to her room since shes only a few down from me. To my surprise she gave me a hug that lasted about 10 seconds. I told her I had a lot to say to her, but that I was drunk and didnt want to say something stupid. I began to speak anyway and she said "shhhh you need to get to bed" and then she left. I am really confused by all thats been going on lately. I don't know if we are totally over or if she wants to go way slower and just be friends for now. I am totally crazy about this girl, but I'm afraid if I tell her all thats in my heart it will push her away even more. I really need some advice or some insight on why she is acting this way.
