Cub Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I'm trying to figure out which one I am. My gf and I got into a bit of a fight today because she called me then spent the entire time ignoring me to play some game. So I left the convo and when I spoke to her later told her that I didn't like being ignored for a game. Her response was: "You shouldn't have offered to hang up while I played it. You get what you pay for." So, as you could imagine, I'm really pissed now, but I need outside opinions. Am I right or wrong to be angry?
2ndIINone Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 she's wrong. She shouldn't have called you at all if she was already playing the game. When on the phone, she should've dropped the game while talking to you. Just outta respect for you. You get what you pay for??? I don't get that comment. She sounds childish to me.
jcster Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I think a day of the "silent treatment" until a sincere apology is forthcoming would be appropriate. Just be careful that this isn't a trend - because that "get what you pay for" comment was just rude. If you see this behavior continue - I would a) if you truly love her - sit down and have a serious talk, or b) if you don't think she's the "one" - find someone who loves you more than zelda.
Author Cub Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 She's pretty stubborn though. Heh, it's just a good thing I'm the same way. Makes making up hard though...
