If the woman pays, then is she expecting the guy to put out? Seems only fair.

 

Most men would reject a womans offer to pay but if he consistantly accepts most of the time it would seem strange to me.

 

As for being independant I am 100% and pay my own way in life. SO when it comes to dinner if a man asks me out they usually pay. I may offer on the next date to take them to a movie or have them over for some of my delicious choc chip cookies which I LOVE to bake when I feel like it , not with some guy sticking a rolling pin in my back forcing me to cook , lol

"Leave it to Beaver" days are over....um like 47 years ago....sooo get used to the year 2007..

 

A real woman knows what to do in the bedroom ....everything else can be ordered in...if she feels like cooking she cooks , if she doesn't, he cooks or they order something.

 

Don't try to tell me :a man works 40hrs , she works 40 hrs, he comes home and grabs the remote and she comes home and busts her a** 3 more hours in the kitchen with prep , cooking and cleaning the mess up. I don't think so and I think what really burns YOUR a** is that we * can * make these choices and you can't do anything about it.

 

You want 1945 back and its long gone.

 

Trust me it is not that hard for a man to find a stepford wife. Not saying I would want one but if a man wants a more traditional woman there are quite a few places he can go. We don't have to be stuck with feminists with a chip on their shoulder against men.

I agree with you on some level. I don't think that in relationships you need to keep score but if women want equal rights they need equal responsibility. Some women scream that independence stuff from the rooftops but when it comes time to take responsibility for themselves they pull the weak little women act.

 

Aren't you the one that hated women previously to meeting the one you are with now ?

I don't hate all women but I am not afraid to tell it like it is when it comes to modern day gender relations. I am probably a little more leery of women but if a woman proves herself trustworthy I have no issue with her.

She doesn't * need * to prove her trustworthiness but rather you need to learn how to TRUST from the get go.... That your issue and you OWN it until you learn women are not snakes in the tall grass..

 

Didn't they call you a mysogynist ( sp ) on here alot ?

If they want to call me a misogynist then that is what I am. Also I am leery of women because men can't afford not to be. Women have a habit of turning on a man at the drop of a dime and men need to watch out for this.

I feel very sorry for your girlfriend/wife . Does she know how damaged your view of women has become ?

 

What did women do to you to make you never recover and be a normal loving man who does not fear something bad will happen if he's next to the female species ?

I love my wife with all my heart. I have good instincts and she is such a good person inside that sometimes I feel this world does not deserve people like her. I wish I could see the world from the place that she does. She knows I have issues but I never mistreat her.

I'm a woman and don't cook at all. I'm the breadwinner and earn all the money and pay all the bills. I'm not traditional and I don't like to do housewifey things.

 

Just because you can cook does not mean you are into housewifey thing or conservative. Cooking is just a skill like everything else, nothing less or nothing more.

People made your simple question into a complicated one and not many people are replying to your question lol. It is great that you r thinking about it. It shouldnt be a great deal if you cant cook, but it definitely is a big plus if you can cook. Men like it and believe me his mom will also like it then it can also be fun for both of you when you are indoors. So if you want and if you have time then it wont be a bad idea to develop your skills. (I am a girl and my bf likes it when i cook for him and i like it too:p )

I swore off fast food about 6 years ago with the exception of an occasional weekend lunch or vacations.

 

I'm one of those guys who peels the skin off chicken.

I rarely cook... I live alone so I get stuff already made or order out or go to the resto... If the guy wants a someone to cater ...then I wouldn't be the one.
