Guest Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I would personally be more inspired than intimidated. It would motivate me to go after my goals more ambitiously. The more intrinsic and extrinsic motivators I have, the more likely I will be successful in the long run. A SO who makes many times what you do would be able to support any maverick ventures you would be interested as well. I just can't see any downsides to being with a woman who earns more. I think being around many successful people will increase your chances of becoming successful. In summary, I think it would be both a financial and personal boost to be with a GF who made more than I do. This is for men only. How would you feel if your gf or wife earned A LOT more than what you made, many, many times times more than you made? Would you be intimidated? Would you be able to handle the fact that your girlfriend/wife/partner earns more money than you? Would you feel threatened? Can you handle such a successful woman?
