My fiance and I split after 4 years of being together. It was my decision and it was heartbreaking for both of us.

I really like his former roommate and I'm getting vibes that he likes me as well. However, he has stated in the past that he is "too busy" for a GF and isn't sure he wants to get married. Am I naive in thinking that these could be excuses? I have liked him for so long and feel as though I will majorly regret not saying anything.

He's intelligent, easy going, fun, slightly geeky (in a good way!!) and I don't think he would reject me becaues he's not attracted to me (I'm not saying I'm incredibly sexy but that I don't think he's out of my league).

I hope I didn't come as arrogant or foolish. I am sincere in my attraction and feelings toward him and just think that being 27 I have gotten more straightforward and assertive.

any advice? Any?

When did you and your fiance break up?

Yeah, don't you think you need some time between? There's no hurry. :)

Honestly...if he was interested in going out with you or dating you or anything romantic with you, he'd ask you out. He told you he's "too busy for a girlfriend." That, to men, = I'm just not that into you.

He has your number. He knows you exist. If he was feeling anything, he'd call, hun.

Yeah I agree. Also, maybe doesn't want to move in on his buddy's ex-fiance. Sounds like he's a decent guy.
