jrlaker08 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Quite simply put i met this grl back in January and we she invited me to a super bowl party....We started hanging out more and eventually i asked her out we're (were?) together...so after being together for about about a month everything was fine we would only see each other 1-2 two times a week. Because she works full-time on a night shift and so do I; plus I go to school fulltime... well we went out to eat in late march evrything was fine we enjoyed ourselves you know the deal... well i tell her that i'm going to be busy the rest of the week studying for a midterm.....so friday (later that week) im about to take it and she texts me wishing me good luck on it about 5 min before the teas....i thought that was nice....well any way i call her on the weekend and she says she'll call me back....so i take her word for it...well guess what she didnt.... i give it a couple of days (2-3) and call her no answer....that was 3 weeks ago ppl....not too mention she stopped texting me (which she does more than she talks on the phone)....obvisouly something's up...so i figure maybe she doesnt wanna talk or whatever ya know...i try callin her couple more times (not too frequently)...still no reply.....so (some peepz said dont do this) i decide to stop by her apartment to you know see if shes alive and breathing cuz im wonderin....her brother tells me shes out of town for 3 weeks!!...so im curious as to how you take off of work 4 3 weeks?? so im wonderin is this her way of blowin cuz shes lost interest or could there really be something that made leave town (i dunno family emrgency?) and figured not to tell me.... ive just called her today no answer (this is 2 weeks after stopping by her home).... im thinkin of just cutting my losses and forgettin about it.....i really like this girl but is this really how some ppl break up with others....(no commmunication whatsoever?)...my issue is the fact that i dont know what to think about it... ive had relationships before and this is new territory to me....any thoughts?? what gets me is this seemed to come out of nowhere we both seemed into each other......

Yes. Its the conflict avoider's favorite way of dealing with things. 2. A breakup is never 'out of nowhere'. She likely put some thought into it beforehand, but unfortunately failed to tell you she was doing so. You didn't get to see that part. You only got to see the end result.
