I feel like this isn't talked about much...

But for those of you who consider yourself to be in "happy" relationships/marriages...ever get a little bored with your SO?

I get sick of everyone in the whole world, including myself, :laugh:from time to time.

But I feel like there's this relationship myth that if you sometimes "don't feel like" seeing your SO, there *must* be a problem in your relationship.

Obviously, taking "me time" for a few hours when you live together is totally normal. But sometimes, even if you aren't living together, don't you go through a week or two where you just don't feel like seeing your SO?

No I don't get sick of him. I like being around him except for when I'm in my recharge mode. I don't like to be bothered.

But I know he gets sick of me. He'd have to...I'm a ISTJ. I'm a handful.

I don't think that bored or sick of is the correct terminology, but its always good to have your space apart from your SO.

What is ISTJ?

Thanks.:)

Now go back to picking your nose and laughing.

Ha! I'm ISTJ, too, but I don't think I'm a handful.

No, I don't get sick of being around my SO, then again, I don't live with him. That may make a difference when compared to those who do live with their SO.

I thought I would like to live with him, but now I'm afraid that it would change the dynamics and ruin everything. I kinda like living alone (albeit with children.) Still, I miss him terribly when we are apart.

Guess I have some soul searching to do. (Assuming I have a soul.)

You mean that he might sneak up behind you when you're least expecting it?

(Assuming I have a soul.)

You are a very kind soul.

Hey don't give him the link. No need to help his curiousness along.

No it's not so bad. I had to loosen up a tad with things when we moved in together.

He still likes moving things (even a couple of inches) once I have them where I want them. Does it to mess with me. Gets a kick out of it too.:laugh:

We even had a instance with a piece of paper. I had it where I wanted it and then he moved it a little then I moved it back. When on for about 10 mins. of moving it back and forth.

Actually, I remembered that I'm ISFJ (I a feeler versus a thinker.)

What about your famous phrase "that's for another time."

I'm missing the feel part in my oh brain oh. I just can't see how people can FEEL everything.

The time is now woman.....

I am going to go ahead and call your bluff.

Don't be using my catch phrases. Those are trademarked and licensed to me and me only.

Its funny..I was just having this conversation with a co-worker of mine.

I didn't know if I was the only one. :o It's not that I get bored or sick of my so but Theres a couple of times ( very few) where Im just like Blah lol.

I LOOVVEEE my hunny but to death but yeah there are times when I 'really' appreciate my time alone. But this happens with my friends as well. I get irked for a little while and kind of cacoon myself off from them and then I come back when Im recharged I guess.

I don't know why this happens either? My bf is used to it though. He knows I get in my moods, rarely, but I do...and he will give me my space. No particular reason at all and I still love them..Nothing that they do or say that sets it off either? I dunno

I think everyone needs time to theirselves or a timeout as I call it in certain situations.

No because we all know its not true.

I'm very happy with my SO and love him a ton, I don't ever get sick of him but there are times when I don't feel like hanging out with him. Sometimes he wants to go see a movie i don't want to see or play some video game and i just don't feel like it so I stay home or go out to do my own thing. Even if it's something I enjoy I just don't feel like it sometimes or want to do something else instead, it's rare but it happens, pretty normal I think.
