At the cross roads.. any suggestions?

I am at the cross roads.

 

One road : goes to academically wonderful life which I love more than anything, but it certainly leads to stressful life which I don't like. And it needs to move my kids to different country which is too much pressure for them to adjust to new schools, new environment.

 

Another road goes to : less academic carrier but peaceful life , kids will stay where we are now. Nothing much disturbed. But academically I need to compromise.

 

3rd road and 4rth options I eliminated myself, I guess its a goodthing.

please any advice? I don't want to end up worrying by takng bad decision now... I can't leave academically improved life, sametime I don't like put my family under stress.

Do you really want to move to another country? Is that country an improvement on where you live now? Will you be able to give your kids the proper attention and help they need after a move while focusing on your stressful career?

 

Is it possible to stay where you are and eventually improve your academic career prospects in the future?

No. only positive point is academic.

Yes. Career or medical, its good. but sressful life.

I need to struggle I guess, atleast intial few years.

I hit my crossroads a while ago. I took the road that would be the most fun and I've been having a ball ever since. Doesn't pay as much but it's just so much fun.
