Do any of you have any stories of work flirtations/affairs/hookups gone bad?

I am considering it myself and would love some dirt on other people's experience before I take the plunge myself. :bunny:

I did it twice. Neither time worked out, and I regret them both. Two people where I work now just got married. I think it's something to be very careful about, but I know better. When you really want to be with someone, there aren't many "practical" matters you'll let stand in your way.

Were these relationships or casual situations?

As difficult as they are to avoid, I definately recommend doing so. It can make going to work a lot of fun.....but it can also make it hell.....

did it twice..one worked out very well, one worked out real badly. they were both boyfriends, the first one i went out with for 6 months, then he quit and got a better job in another state. we tried to do long distance, but we never saw each other cause he worked so much so we broke up. i kind of wonder what would have happened if he would have stayed. i probably would have ended up in the same situation i did with my other ex bf i worked with.

the other relationship was a guy who i only went out with for 2 months, but we were a horrid couple and had a real bad breakup. i had to see him every freaking day and pretend to be nice to him, when i really wanted to kick him in the "u know where."

my advice: sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesnt. if u think that its worth the chance than go for it, but just think about how incredibly bad it could be to get involved with someone, have a horrible breakup, and then have to work with them day in and day out and pretend to be nice to them. its not easy, BELIEVE me. i seriously dont recommend it, there are a ton of other fish in the sea who u dont work with.
