If there is a loan on the cars then it could get even worse if he can't sell a vehicle for at least as much as owed to the bank. Why? because then the whole loan amount will be due and payable upon sale.

I mean, it's not like he's disabled and CAN'T work...

Ahem.

Disabled people CAN work.

Sorry to nitpick, but they can.

I didn't marry him for his money, but I was hoping we would be further along at this point in our lives, with a house. Right now, I'm planning the wedding, but I'm sad that I will have to pay for everything, including the rings and honeymoon.

.

You love eachother- you should be TALKING about this together!

Ok, so you aren't going to marry him for his money, but his lack of it is a very obvious bone of contention for you.

I think you have some valid points, even tho I think that love and partnerships shouldn't be based around finances, I DO know that it can really cause problems in a R.

I think you should postpone the wedding. Will you lose money if you do this? Your F should understand if its going to put that much of a strain on your finances.

I also think he needs to wake up and stop being quite so selfish, like the others said, TWO cars??? Cable?

Not fair.

You guys definitely need to talk about this before you get married.
