Stephanie Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 HI all. I have known this shy guy for a year and 4 months. He knows I like him because my cousin told him. That made things weird between us for about 2 months--we really didn't talk. Now we are getting closer as friends but i can't tell the signs as to if he likes me for more than a friend. I see him about 2 or 3 times a week usually. He will see me head to my truck, wait a little bit and then come out and talk to me (in private). I constantly catch him looking and staring at me. He used to look away when I would catch him, now he just keeps on looking. He walks by for no reason and says hi all while making eye contact. When he comes out and talks to me, his voice is softer and his eyes "light" up. He makes excuses as to why he came out to talk to me like "oh, I just thought I would come out and see what was out here". He doesn't act like this to other women. If he hasn't seen me for awhile he will ask where I have been and the number of days/weeks. He acts like he wants to ask me something because he gets all nervous but he never asks. There is an age difference between us. I am 22 and he is 35. Any advice as to what to do? Thanks!

StephanieA Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 Well, I am just as shy as he is...his face turns red even if you look in his direction! We are both getting more comfortable with each other though. It is getting easier for us to talk. I can't ask him out! I am still too shy. I would love to though. Any ideas? Also, is it bad if his friends look at you, whisper and smile or is that bad? Thanks, Tony. BYW, he has asked my friends what my name was and that I was pretty. He is a nice guy...so sweet. And his name is Tony too.
