dgiirl Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I'm curious on what style of dater's there are. I havent dated much in my life, 2 short term bfs in my teens and one marriage throughout my 20's, and with all of them there's been some chemistry. But I find that mutual chemistry doesnt happen very often, thus leaving me single for 2+ years now. I've had a few guys ask me out lately, but there wasnt any "click" so I decline. But I'm curious what others do? Would you date someone if there was no "click"? How frequently do you find someone where you guys do click? How frequently do you date? What do you consider a date? If I hang out with a guy and have dinner with him, is that considered a date? Even tho it was never planned as a "date"?

We went to the Pistons playoff game tonight and they won. -A date for a single is hanging out with one person of the opposite sex that you have some sort of romantic interest in and you want to get to know them. -If you have any interest in him and you wanted to get to know him better, then yes it is a date.
Author dgiirl Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 Wow, you meet new people at least once a week where you have a romantic interest?
Pyro Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Wow, you meet new people at least once a week where you have a romantic interest? I refer to it as a date when my SO and I go out together. That is what I meant.

Ariadne Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Hi, Would you date someone if there was no "click"? Yes, those are the only ones I date unfortunately. The only condition is that they don't bore me to tears. (For some reason I never fall in love with my lovers, fwbs, boyfriends, husbands, or any of that stuff) How frequently do you find someone where you guys do click? Almost never, and when I do it's almost guaranteed that they don't want me. How frequently do you date? I never date, but somehow I meet people and then end up having a relationship with them. (The last one was a blind date). What do you consider a date? Some kissing involved. Or at least that you have romance in mind when meeting. If I hang out with a guy and have dinner with him, is that considered a date? Even tho it was never planned as a "date"? I guess it could be if there are some romantic intentions. If you and the guy are working on a project and he says let's go get something to eat then no. Ariadne
