Hey,

I'm 5-10, 16 years old at 125 pounds.. my question to girls: How important is a guy's body size to you? I eat perfectly fine, workout alot (don't ever see results--lol), I've just naturally got a not so favorable metabolism. Please be honest by all means.

Thanks.

Well I am a guy, but I have talked to girls and the ones I talked to thought I have a good body. I'm 6'3 and 175 by the way, so yeah tall an thin...

I think skinny guys are hot. I probably was way too into glam rock in my formative years and that could influence my opinion, but yeah.

At 16, your body is still maturing. Give it time and it will fill out guaranteed. Remember, the guy who's 170 lbs at 5'10" will probably be 200 lbs at age 28.

Now thank your metabolism and continue stuffing your face...

How is your penis coming along? I'm not sure which food or supplement is good for encouraging that region of the body, but a little extra chocolate couldn't hurt.

Like Trialbyfire says, you're still "growing." Just relax, and things will all fall into place. Come to think of it, they should already have fallen by now.

pelagicsands, you pretty much crack me up. My boyfriend is 23 years old and 5'9" and like 125 lbs. He keeps eating nuts to try to bulk up cuz he's obsessed with health food, but he should probably like eat mouthfuls of protein powder or hungry man dinners or sticks of butter or something. He calls himself Skeletor. I kind of like skeletors and their skinny bums. Totally hypocritical cuz I'm a curvy girl... not as a euphemism for 'fat' cuz I'm not, but I just have some nice padding to round things out. But I like my boys to be pointy and bony.

It is all personal taste.

I have never been attracted to thin men - or men that are not athletic and very muscular. Most of the women I know are the same way but I have also known a few women that are attracted to thin men and muscles turn them off.

As far as I know, usually women aren't into looks as much as men. So while the fact that you're skinny may not be a good thing (the trend now is buff guys, plus some women don't like to date men skinnier than they are, makes them feel fat), but it's not that big of a deal.

If it bothers you then bulk up. If you can afford it, do the gainers (not just protein powder, use the gainers, I just switched to CytoGainer) + get a good trainer, preferably a guy that's huge. Women trainers are just as knowledgeable, but they won't have the personal experience of bulking up, unless they're one of those female body builders.

If you eat 5000 calories a day + lift heavy, you will bulk up. But know that it'll fix the issue that being skinny bothers you and will give you more self confidence, but it won't fix the "will women like me issue" directly.

I'm like Tangerina. Most guys I'm attracted too are a bit on the scrawny-skinny side. Plus yup, 16. Plenty of time to bulk up still. Don't worry about it.

I am not attracted to skinny guys, I'd take overweight to skinny. I love a man with an athletic build.

Two words - HIP BURNS!

Two words - HIP BURNS!

I must be thinking along the same lines. :p

When I was younger, skinny guys were very attractive to me. Many guys in the late 70's and early 80's were very thin.

My first husband was about your current size, and I swear I used to get bruises on my inner thighs when we had sex. His pelvic bones and hips were so bony.

Now I prefer more meat on a man's bones, but by the time you get to my age you will probably have more meat. At 16 you are not necessarily finished growing.

Nature dictates that men are thin (not necessarily skinny) and that women carry a little body fat. Our current perceptions of sensuality are totally out of whack with nature and thats why plastic surgery and body augmentation are thriving.

Posted

I prefer thin or lean men, although this isn't a necessity. The balance of the package drives preference before looks.

oh yes, the package... wicked evil grin...

Why did I know someone would take it there?

Posted

I think I weighed 134 and was 6' in high school. Now, at 43, i weigh 170.

I remember i hated being skinny when young. But now as I observe people as they get older, most have to worry about what they eat. Many are fat and out of shape. Where I am fit and trim, especially for my age. I can eat whatever I want, drink as many beers as I want and still stay the same weight.

Just wait and see, you will someday appreciate how skinny you are.

Posted

You are the way you are for a reason, enjoy it. If you don't like it, fix it. I have been told the package thing is true too.

Posted

Well, I wouldnt worry about it too much - the general rule of thumb is metabolism decreases as you get older.

And besides, a growing common trend now is women who are into slim/athletic types.

Ignore what the ladies say about "I like skinny guys" it's more like they're saying "I like skinny/wimpy looking guys because I don't want them to improve on themselves so they will be attractive to other girls" or perhaps they're just trying to make you feel better. The truth is the majority of women like a medium sized toned muscular body (like a Swimmer) just like the majority of men like Miss America type bodies. We can't get what we want eh? The truth is the truth. You don't have to eat 5000 calories like that other guy says. I'm 5' 11" and I eat around 2500 calories 5 days out of the week (the other 2, I eat almost half that.) and I have a medium sized toned muscular body.

I'm not sure where you pulled that assumption from but I have my suspicions...

It's like saying, the only reason men like Gisele Bundchen is because she looks very, very intelligent...

At 16 I was about 130-140lbs, at 21 I am 180lbs (6'4").

I think their just as hot as any other guy.

I did see this young guy who was thin. The man had no butt, lol!!! I was tempted to ask how he keeps his pants up because I didn't see a belt.

Did you see the other side? His package must be impressive.
