So is this the normal course..guy winks at girl..girl winks back then usually the guy will send an message. So this guy I find really attracitve sends me a wink, so I send one back..now days later nothing, no message. So guys even behind a computer screen dont have the guts to write someone a message? Then of course there's the delirious type who will send u not 1, or 2, 3 but 4 messages asking u why u didn't respond to their first message and if you can leave some feedback on what turned you off and and what you find wrong with him.

From my limited experience, I believe that anyone can make a profile, look at others profiles and "wink" or send an " ice breaker"for free. After that they need to subscribe, which costs money, so I would NOT take it personally that they didn't write back : they just didn't want to spend the 40 bucks a month !

Never take it personal! It could be a blessing in disguise that he did not respond.

Sometimes it could be a non subscriber or a marketing gimmick to convert a nonsubscriber to a subscriber even for a month.

thats usually what it is....these internet dating sites are total scams.

Lots of possibilities:

1) he met someone else

2) he was drunk/horny when he winked you, and changed his mind once he sobered up/calmed down

3) he read through your profile after winking and changed his mind

4) it was a fake profile

As for dating sites being scams, I've met people via them so they aren't a complete waste of time. But yeah, you will waste 90% of your time to find the 10% who are genuine & worthwhile.

A ratio of 99% to 1% is more likely.

Be glad if this happens that you know the guy is this pathetic now rather than later
