john 07 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 My Ex broke it off with me after 7 years and now got into a relationship a week after the break up. WTF...I know. Broke up b/c i didnt change for the better. Ive been reading around and want her back, but i keep hearing/reading that I shouldnt call her, dont text and so on. Isnt this all the opposite. Shouldnt i be nice to her so she takes me back??? I dont get it at all. why the opposite of what i should be doing??

This applys to her wanting you as well. Thats all I can add at this point...I'm still trying to figure out the dating/relationship scene myself. Good luck!

You were nice, you were texting, you were calling.... you WERE showing her you didn't want to break up.... but still drove her away into the arms of another man. Your first instincts got you no where and not even close to the results you were trying for, therefore they were obviously wrong.... soooooo.... the opposite must be right.
